introduction Welcome to Asphyxia. In short, this is my random blog. I do not update everyday, though I want to try to get into the habit of doing so. It will be a mixture between my photography works and my daily whatevers. Leave a message if you have a comment, question or suggestion, maybe even a request. I try to reply as soon as I can, though with little traffic here it nearly seems pointless. If things start to pick up then I will probably not only check here more, but put up more posts and pictures. Though, please reframe from spam and being rude. There's really no need for it.

As of lately, life has been treating me pretty well. I really don't have any complaints other than there not being more hours in a day. I think I'm getting to the point where I am okay with life and things are getting better. I'm learning to see the other side and accept what I have. Though, I will admit that I am slacking a bit in taking photos in which I need to get back into shape for. I need to do Morgan's photos and get those sent to her, that way I have more to show in my Photography Port and she has her photos she has been asking for. Just as of late, I haven't had the time to be playing around on my computer and by the time I get home I'm too out of it to do any edit work.

My room got messy. Again. So that is on the "to-do" list. More later when I'm not so damn tired. 'Night all.

I got a new laptop because my other one decided it wanted to pms on me. It wouldn't run the game I wanted to play and I kept getting disconnected. Have to say, I very much enjoy the new one. Though, I do feel kind of bad because my other one does work. It's just not very quick. Yet my mom let me go ahead and get this $600 new one. I love her. I have thought about it time and time again what I would do without her and every time I think about her dying or something I start to cry and honestly don't know what I would do without her. I would probably be dead. I can't see myself alive without her helping me along the way like she always has. I mean, people say you get over a death of a loved one, that it just takes time. For me she is my everything. I might not show it and might not express it much, but she truly does mean the world to me. I love her with everything. She is the person that made me who I am and has always been here for me through all the shit I've put her through, she has never given up on me. I'm glad to say she is my mom.

Today Taylor, Tiff, and I went down to the Beach to take pictures. Even though it was rather cold we ended up having a good shoot. It wasn't amazing just because the lighting and the sun I was hoping to have today, decided it was feeling shy and wanted to hide behind the clouds all day long. Either way it wasn't too bad. We got a few good shots. My camera was spazzing a bit though. Not quite sure why, but luckily I got it figured out rather quick. Though the boards shots I was hoping for didn't turn out quite the way I hoped. They're more blurry than I wanted. Oh well, win some, lose some.

Soo, I bought the bag and am very, very happy about it. I'm sure it will be just what I was looking for. I can't wait to go down to St. Augustine and take photos. That place is absolutely gorgeous. I can't even begin to describe how pretty it is. All the old houses, boy, I can't wait to go inside and photograph those babies!

I can't believe it's Christmas this Friday. This whole year just flew right out the window. Though, this year we are doing things a bit different. I am spending the day with my Mom and her side of the family then around 3:30/4:00pm I am going to drive down to my Dad's and stay there for a bit (He goes to bed at 8:30 so I am leaving then lol) I might see while I'm there if I could stay a night or two with Courtney. Undecided so far.

I am definitely taking my camera on Christmas down to my Dads. I just pray that Brayden won't want to play with it, no offense to him, but my 2k camera is not touching his hands. I love him, but no touching expensive equipment.

Oh my God.

I've decided on what I want as a bag for my camera. Definitely this. It's slim and it will hold everything I have, plus I don't have to get into Everything just to get my camera out. Just take it out of the top compartment. This and dA is typically where I post most of my pictures. So, that totally floats my boat.

This will be a very short entry. Got my amazing camera. I will post photos on my photo blog soon (and include link to it later)

College: Right now I am going to be taking College English and General Psychology. I am only taking two classes at a time to start off with so I don't get overwhelmed with things. I am going to major in Photography but in general I am going to get my A.A. Degree. I have to go tomorrow to get my Student ID and prove FL residency so that we're not paying the out-of-state rate.

General: I want to go down to St. Augustine and to the beach to take photographs. I think those places are beautiful. My room is a mess and totally needs to be cleaned but I lack the motivation to do so. I also need to find my bright red hat, which I will probably find via cleaning my room. Patch Adams is an amazing movie.

The only things I could think of to ask others for Christmas:

Purple Jawbone (headset for phone)
Car alarm system
A tripod that I found at Best Buy that is amazing
Money (durr.)

Dun. Dun. Dun.

Ok, so, today I applied for FSCJ (FCCJ) and tomorrow I am taking the placement tests. After that I can CLEP out. (Meaning I can take tests to get out of the classes)

Also, I went to Cady & Cady and might be learning photography and make-up with them as well as modeling for them. Today, even though I woke up before the crack of dawn, turned out to be a successful, pretty damn good day.

I LOVE the book "Visual Poetry" by Chris Orwig. It's about photography to help me with my Nikon D300 (which I officially bought, yay) But I really connect with the book. It's not like a manual and just a tips and tricks. It teaches you to be creative. Shares stories. Makes you laugh and see things you've never seen in that way before. If you like photography - buy it. Yes, it's $45, but it is soo worth it.

Well, I have work today. 5 to 9:30 (for those who don't know I work at pacsun at the mall)
Though, because I don't get a whole lot of hours, I don't think I am going to stay there long. When you're only working 8 or 9 hours a week, that's pretty bad.

Heather Babcock For the most part, I am your typical sixteen year old girl. I eat fatty foods and enjoy it even though later on it's going to come back to get me. I drink a zillion pops a day. Love to flirt and be friendly with people. I have my good days and my rainy days. I love hanging out with friends and doing something fun. I mean, who doesn't want to have fun, right?

I love to shop. I love that feeling of finding something that simply looks amazing on you and as you walk by, you turn heads. I am a sunglasses and hat junkie. I find them addicting and have a million, but I rarely wear them. I take my time when shopping, I'm not the "get in, get out" kind of shopper. I like to make sure that what I'm buying is what I really want. You won't catch me anywhere without my iPhone. I am on it all the time. Though, after a while I get bored of texting. I'm not a huge phone person either. I'd rather hang out and talk in person. More fun that way.

My favorite movie right now is REPO: The Genetic Opera. If you ever want to WOW me. Watch it and talk about it. Same with Glee. I love that show. I dislike childish people who go around and pick fights over the internet just because they find it fun or just because they can. If they have nothing better to do than make other people feel like shit, they really have no life and instead cower behind their computers. Lovely what the world has come to as of lately.

I am a friendly person, I could talk about being a bitch and all that, but in all honesty I won't be a bitch or rude at all unless you seriously piss me off. Which is hard to do. Though, I am the person who is more likely to stick up for my friends and get hot headed over something you say to them than something you say to me. Why? I don't really know, I've just alwasy found myself as a loyal friend. I love gay guys. They make my day. I myself am straight, but most definitely a gay supporter.

I am currently a student of FSUJ (which used to be FCCJ). My Major is Photography. I decided I wanted to travel and document what I see and what is important to me. It's my way of creating poetry but instead of writing out 20 lines, I take one photograph that says it all. I love to be on both sides of the camera.

I love to meet people and get affies and sister sites. Hit me up if you are interested. =)
